This map shows the manufacturing footprint by region.
The Group's geographic manufacturing footprint is based on plants throughout the world which, depending on the type of product manufactured, can bring production closer to its distribution market.
The Group's Operational Excellence System, deployed in all its plants, is based on the commitment of all Operations employees to guarantee safety, health, quality, product availability, productivity, ergonomics and an improved environmental impact.
The Group's environmental policy aims to roll out best practices in sustainable production so as to limit the direct impact of the Group's business activities on the environment, and to preserve biodiversity and resources: energy efficiency, use of renewable energy, optimisation of water withdrawals and reuse, reduction of waste generation, etc. In 2025, L'Oréal continued to prioritise programmes designed to reduce its environmental footprint(1).
AT 31 DECEMBER 2025, COMPARED TO 2019:
L’Oréal’s supply chain aims to satisfy its customers and consumers across all its brands and distribution channels, by ensuring the availability and delivery of more than 7 billion products worldwide. Its responsiveness and resilience in 2025 supported the Group's growth in a volatile market. L'Oréal is constantly seeking to improve lead times and costs by optimising its information and physical goods flows.
Digitalisation and data management are at the heart of L'Oréal's AI-enhanced supply chain programme. These technologies enable us to constantly improve product availability at the point of sale and manage flows to optimise lead times and costs.
The Group's distribution network of 160 distribution centres - some of which are being transformed into automated, data-driven fulfilment centres(3) - ensures responsive coverage of requirements, an expanded range of services (personalisation, box preparation, bespoke delivery) and enhanced traceability. One example is the new smart fulfilment centre in Suzhou, China, inaugurated in 2024.
Lastly, L'Oréal is also working with its carriers to develop low-carbon multi-modal solutions to reduce its environmental footprint.
